Thank you so much for being part of the celebration!

We kindly request that all guests are vaccinated for COVID-19 in advance of our wedding weekend. Thank you for helping keep our friends and family safe!
Welcome Party!
The Big Day!
Today is the day! The ceremony will begin at 5:30 pm, followed by a cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing (plus hot dogs if you stay late enough).
Dress to impress, but also dress to party.
The dress code this evening is “funky formal”. We encourage bright colors, sequins, and fun textures. If there’s an outfit you’ve been itching to wear, now is the time to wear it! Black suits, colorful suits, long dresses, and mid-length dresses are all welcome. Please avoid wearing white.
Traveling to the venue
Knowlton Mansion is about a 30-minute drive from the city. There will be a complimentary shuttle available for guests, picking up and dropping off at the Philadelphia Marriott Old City. If you’re interested in taking the shuttle, please be sure to include that in your RSVP. Shuttle times will be shared closer to the event.
We recommend flying into Philadelphia International Airport. It’s a 10-20 minute taxi or Uber ride to Old City, the neighborhood where we recommend you stay.
Newark Airport often has very budget-friendly flights, and you can take a train from the airport, right to 30th Street Station in Philly. It’s an hour train ride, but it goes by quickly!
Philadelphia Marriott Old City
Our hotel block is at the Philadelphia Marriott Old City, and this is where the shuttle will pick up and drop off on the day of the wedding. This hotel is also a 10-minute walk to the Welcome Party location, as well as many other historic sites and delicious restaurants. Below are additional details for this hotel block.
We’re so excited to share Philly with you! Philadelphia has amazing restaurants, bars, history, and museums. There are a ton of great resources online to find exactly what you’re looking for, but here are a few of our favorite things that we hope you can check out while you’re here.
As we have already built a life together, we kindly request no gifts. Should you wish to celebrate with a gift, we would be honored by a donation to our honeymoon fund, which will help us create unforgettable memories.
Alternatively, please consider making a donation to Friends of Moyer Street Park. FoMSP is a nonprofit that is building a park in our neighborhood, hopefully breaking ground in late 2025. Adding green space to the neighborhood is an initiative that is near and dear to our hearts, as Marisa is a board member and Matthew is an active volunteer at FoMSP.
